Description

We are looking for a full-time position for Junior in Database administration/developer with 2+ years of experience in database administration and 1+ years of experience in data development to join our growing team. The role involves planning, development, expansion, and protection of the database program, database administration, troubleshooting and database supports.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain all the Oracle and SQLServer databases required for development, testing and production
Active experience in supporting Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL and PostgreSQL environments.
Monitor the database environment, identify performance, trends and develop meaningful reporting, metrics and trending documentation to develop action plans
Establish the needs of users and monitoring user access and security and as well supporting development team.
Responsible for managing the database environment by ensuring that storage, archiving backup and recovery procedures are functional
Developing and utilizing database utilities to help the maintenance process
Utilize expert understanding of schema implementation to interpret and tune queries
Developing, managing, implementing and testing database upgrade, migration, etc
Basic knowledge in Data Warehouse, ETL and Business Intelligence
Writing project documentation, including design specifications, producing test plans
Working experience in Agile/Kanban
Experience in Developing ETL routine process using established libraries and tools Like SSIS, SSRS.
Developing and optimizing efficient Procedures, PL/SQL code.
Collaborate with other software developers, software architects, product owner and project manager to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain databases required for administration, testing and production.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years of experience in providing Oracle Database Administration: installation/configuration, security, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting,
1+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration, T-SQL, Replication, etc
1+ years of experience in working in both Linux and Window Platform
Knowledge and/or experience in Oracle or Microsoft Cloud technologies is an asset.
Knowledge and/or experience in developing data transformation and reporting using ETL tools, like SSIS, Informatica, SSRS.
Knowledge and/or experience in developing Dashboard reports, BI Reports using tableau or PowerBI
Ability to work with a team environment and willingness to learn and continuously improve.
Strong Communication skills – both written and verbal
