Associate Criminal Litigation Lawyer – Downtown Toronto ( 1 to 2 year call)
Location: Downtown Toronto (steps from Union Station)

E-LAW PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION is a rapidly growing Toronto criminal law firm. We are currently seeking to hire two associate criminal litigation lawyers with 1-2 years experience. The ideal candidate will have the following professional qualifications:

· Between 1 to 2 years of post-call criminal litigation experience.
· Strong analytical, oral and written communication and drafting skills

Responsibilities include:
· Conducting trials and contested hearings and applications
· Carriage of files from inception and pre-litigation through to resolution, by trial or otherwise and deal with multiple already ongoing files
· Draft / Review documents, including correspondence, pleadings, briefs, and hearing documents.
· Conduct and review legal research
· Meet directly and remotely with clients and other lawyers
· Attend court in-person or remotely as required.
· Preparation of various legal documents relevant to litigation (Charter Applications, Evidence Applications).

Requirements:
· A minimum of one (1) year criminal litigation experience
· Law license in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
· Driver’s Licence and your own vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,192.00-$120,671.00 per annum
