Jewellery sales/buyer at Appraisal/Purchasing events

Harrington's Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sales Person/Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and purchasing a wide range of items, including Estate Jewellery, Watches, Numismatics, Antique Objects, and Collectibles. Prior knowledge and experience in either the auction, estate Jewellery, watches, or antiques industry is essential for success in this position.

As a member of our travelling appraisal/purchasing team, you will have the opportunity to travel coast-to-coast, working alongside a team of 2-3 individuals. To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including retail and tradeshow experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in the Jewellery industry, including gemology and numismatics
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• The ability to travel extensively, with 2 weeks out of province every 4-6 weeks
• A valid driver's license

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $55,000 per year after a 90-day probation period, with a generous bonus structure. Our top performers earn an average total of $100,000-$120,000 per year after Commissions and bonuses. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 3 weeks of paid vacation per year, travel expenses, and a food allowance. This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week.
