Jewellery sales/buyer for Appraisal & Purchasing Events

Harrington's Auctioneers & Appraisers, a prominent name in the auction and appraisal industry, is in search of a seasoned Sales / buyer Specialist to bolster our team. Your expertise will encompass a broad spectrum, evaluating and procuring items such as Estate Jewelry, Watches, Numismatics, Antique Treasures, and other Collectibles. A background in estate jewelry, timepieces, or antiques is pivotal for flourishing in this role.

Being an essential member of our Travelling appraisal and purchasing unit, your role will involve:

• Nationwide travel, alongside a dedicated crew of 2-3 professionals.
• Ensuring reliability and punctuality in all dealings.
• Maintaining professionalism in every interaction, upholding the company's standards.
• Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborating efficiently with team members, fostering a supportive environment..

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A solid 5-year track record in sales, inclusive of retail and tradeshow stints.
• In-depth knowledge in the realm of Jewelry, enriched by a grasp of gemology and numismatics.
• Exceptional interpersonal flair coupled with adept negotiation capabilities.
• An open itinerary, involving travel commitments for 2 weeks every 4-6 weeks across provinces.
• A current driver's license.

Rewards and Compensation:After a 90-day assessment phase, befitting candidates can anticipate:

• A base salary of $55,000 -$65,000 annually.
• A lucrative bonus framework, enabling top achievers to amass $100,000-$120,000 annually post commissions and bonuses.
• An all-inclusive benefits suite, inclusive of 3 weeks paid annual leave, travel reimbursements, and daily meal provisions.

Engagement Duration: 40 hours weekly. Options available for Full-time, Part-time, and Permanent roles.
