Aareas Interactive is a PropTech company that focuses on creating epic home-buying experiences. Our platform allows people to shop, purchase, and make selections using photorealistic virtual homes, communities, and virtual design centers, online or in person.
PURPOSE
The QA Analyst is expected to have deep Product knowledge with a focus on its quality needs, leveraging both manual and automated tests to meet those needs. The QA Analyst will participate in feature requirement discussions/estimations, plan/document/execute test scenarios, maintain and expand automation coverage, uphold and improve QA process, and participate in all relevant stages of a Sprint cycle, ensuring timelines and high QA standards in an Agile environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Leads and participates in efforts to define, implement and maintain a standard business architecture framework for the company ensuring that a consistent approach to business analysis and specifications are followed, and that solutions are defined, within the context of the overall framework and long-term business vision.
- Manage test plan, Knowledge Base and other documentation.
- Manage business requirement and specification delivery, ensuring consistency with the company business process framework.
- Test web applications, functional testing, integration testing and load testing of applications along with database input.
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Assists developers in identifying program and or system errors.
- Identifies potential design flaws and refers to development team for resolution
- Act as a Quality Assurance Engineer to staff in all phases of the development and implementation process, assisting with documentation and support implementation efforts
- Responsible, as a BA/ QA Team Leader to ensure team acquires detailed knowledge of current business processes, and works together to consistently deepen business knowledge and provide valuable business insight.
- works under minimal supervision with an ability to work in a team environment and able to deploy industry standard best IT practices.

- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in the following tools and technologies: ASP.net ADO.net; SQL Server 2000; C# or Visual Basic.net; Java Script, style sheets; Objected-Oriented Design, Relational Database Design; Web Services, XML;
- Experience with automation testing and scripting
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment with weekly releases
- Experience leading offshore teams
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication (Oral & written) and documentation skills along with good organizational abilities
- Knowledge of SQL Server, IIS
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of using Windows Server, Web Server and SQL Server
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening
