EHN Canada is the country’s largest provider of mental health and addiction services, with inpatient operations in most provinces and an in-person and virtual outpatient program. It has tripled in size over the past four years as it adds new locations and programs. It now helps over 2000 patients and their families each year and works with governments and employers across Canada.

TITLE: Senior Business Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Reporting and Analytics

HOURS OF WORK/SHIFTS: Full time, salary

RESPONSIBLE TO: Manager, Reporting and Analytics

WORK CONDITIONS: Hybrid or Remote. Some travel may be required.

 

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually, plus benefits

 

Job Description

EHN Canada is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to provide strategic planning, analysis, reporting, modelling, research, insights, and recommendations to support executive-level problem solving and decision making for EHN’s Outpatient Services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is humble and curious, with at least two years of experience as an analyst or similar data-intensive role looking to help improve behavioural healthcare for Canadians.

Job Function and Duties

  • In collaboration with EHN Outpatient Leadership, conduct process evaluation and modelling to identify inefficiencies and propose potential improvements that are in keeping with EHN’s mission to provide care that is affordable, accessible, and excellent.
  • Generate, optimize, and maintain reports and dashboards as needed in Excel, Power BI, and Google Suite.
  • Conduct market research and create economic/staffing models that support new programs, expansions, and other growth initiatives.
  • Assist EHN Outpatient Leadership in annual strategic financial planning/budgeting/forecasting process.
  • Monitor trends and changes in addiction and mental health treatment in Canada and US.
  • Assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical outcomes data.
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting using data from the CRM, EMR, and similar databases.
  • Generate and deliver scheduled reports to various EHN stakeholders as need.
  • Assist in other relevant duties as required by direction of EHN Leadership.

 

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, or similar field that requires rigorous research, analysis, and reporting.
  • 2+ years in a role that requires business analysis, reporting, and modelling.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to solve problems and present comprehensive solutions.
  • Possess a high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with strong a work ethic requiring limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets, Looker Studio – 2+ years.

- Salesforce or similar CRM - 1+ years.

  • Health care experience is an asset.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
